Rondewash Laundry Terms AND CONDITIONS
All garments get washed, dried and ironed by Rondwash Laundry’s machinery. Rondewash Laundry cannot be held responsible for any damage done by any of the machinery be it shrinkage of clothing, transfer of colour from one garment to another, nor any other form of damage thereto. Rondewash Laundry is not responsible for garments labelled “hand wash only” or “dry clean only” and is not responsible for checking for these labels in client’s garments.
Rondewash Laundry does not consent to the accuracy of any count sheet completed by the customer unless confirmed in writing by means of a signature and/or stamp by the Rondewash Laundry staff member on duty. Rondewash Laundry can only be held responsible for lost or damaged clothing in the event that the client has previously handed in a correct count sheet and has notified Rondewash Laundry of any missing or damaged items within one hour after delivery and/or pick-up has taken place, failure to do so constitutes a waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery. Should there be any missing item/s, and only once both parties have come to an agreement regarding said missing item/s will Rondewash Laundry be liable to find/replace the missing item/s as agreed upon. However, Rondewash Laundry shall be afforded seven working days to find any missing item/s. If said missing item/s cannot found within the allotted stipulated time period, Rondewash Laundry will be liable to reimburse the client for lost or damaged clothing caused by Rondewash Laundry in an amount to be determined by Rondewash Laundry; current replacement cost and depreciation for age, fair wear and tear of the missing item will be taken into account when reimbursing said missing item.
Although, Rondewash Laundry tries as hard as possible to track such items, we are not responsible for loose items such as jewellery, watches, cash, detachable buttons, cufflinks, etc. We request that customers empty pockets prior to leaving items with us as we cannot be held responsible for damage to your garments from items left in pockets (Lipstick, Gum, Pens, etc). Any personal property placed with Rondewash Laundry that appears to have value will be removed and stored for 30 days.
If items are unclaimed after 30 days, all property will be donated to charity.
Although we do our best to prevent damages to your garment, unfortunately every garment, regardless of brand or quality, will wear out over time, and there is nothing Rondwash Laundry can do to predict when this will happen, or prevent it. For damage related to normal wear and tear, Rondwash Laundry does not provide reimbursement or compensation. Per industry standards, the following are considered to be normal wear and tear: shrinkage from repeated laundering, curtain shrinkage, colour fading, small holes or tears, discolouration caused by hygiene or beauty products (deodorant, perfume, cologne), button damage, thinning of fabric.
Rondewash Laundry is an agent for Classiclean Dry Cleaners who performs all the dry cleaning activities on behalf of Rondewash Laundry. Rondewash Laundry cannot be held responsible for nor liable for damage caused by Classiclean Dry Cleaners. Should there be any damage or dry cleaning claim, the sole responsibility/liability thereof shall be that of Classiclean Dry Cleaners.
Drop off and Collection Times
Rondewash Laundry is not responsible for the customer failing to meet the scheduled drop off and collection times. If the customer is unable to meet the scheduled drop off and collection times, a new time must be set. Rondewash Laundry has one hour from the scheduled drop off and collection times set by the customer to collect and/ or drop off the client’s laundry.
